Phirnis usually served in traditional earthen pot known as shikoras, matka, kullad or kasore. This type of earthenware is a small bowl usually an use and throw container. Mango, The King of Fruits & Milk, Everyone's Favorite. Both together form the Phirni.
Take a bowl and soak 50g Basmati Rice for 30 Minutes. Drain out the water thoroughly.
Add the Basmati Rice And some water. Grind it and turn it into slurry consistency.
Boil Milk and put the slurry on and keep on stirring. Stir till the milk thickens a bit.
Add Alphonso Mango Pulp, Elaichi Powder, and Dry Fruits. First taste the Phirni and adjust the quantity of sugar. Mostly 100g sugar is used.
Keep stirring till it is of a thick consistency. It should be of such consistency that it should not turn into halva.
Transfer the Phirni into a Small Mud Pot. Set the phirni in the refrigerator. Take out after a few minutes and Enjoy
